"Sex and Drugs and Dirty money/on the race to rule the world"
I fuckin LOVE this song and the video breathes some more life into it to make me love it even more. I wish i knew who it was that sang the chorus because it sounds like a sample but it says that there was no sample used. Oh well w/e the case may be, this song is dope as all hell and the video does it full justice. Rock on from Krypton

Drake - Lust For Life x HoustonAtlantaVegas [mash-up video] from 5846 Productions on Vimeo.
I been slackin on my blog game lately but seeing as ppl ain't really been hittin it up I thought i'd take a little break lol. Soon I'm gonna be hitting up this anime convention in Baltimore called Otakon so expect MAD pictures soon of the event. For now i just wanted to drop this dope fan video mashup for Lust for Life and HoustonAtlantaVegas (which i think shoulda been a single) off of Drake's So Far Gone mixtape. It takes scenes from an really good asian movie called 2046 (check it out) and sets the mood of the tracks really well. Till I return to my former blogger glory (lol), Rock on from Krypton
P.S. oh yea and before I forget check out this new track from my boy Hassani Kwess called Kwess Is Frm Olympian (http://www.imeem.com/people/rIf-VKK/) and tell me watchu think. Drop by his blog (http://kwessjinzmark.tumblr.com/) sometime as well for updates

I'm really feelin this video for Put Me On which is a track off of Bobby Ray's, B.o.B. vs Bobby Ray mixtape (which is dope as all hell for those of yall who haven't heard it yet). It's a real chill video that invokes a very 90s feel (as it should since he's rapping over Bonita Applebaum) and you can tell that it's affiliated with Rebook because the Classics are all over the video. Check it out if a got nothing else to do lol. Rock on from Krypton

Oh has Bow Wow stepped his game the FUCK up! I've honestly been a fan of this dude for a minute (I'm not ashamed to say it) but I feel like he's never really reached his full potential. But with the recent tracks he's been puttin out this dude is showin that he's really stepping his game up lyrically and showin that he's hungry to be one of the best. I'm proud of this dude, it's long overdue. Rock on from Krypton

With all the negativity in the media going on I just wanted to post my all time favorite video by MJ which also happens to be his HARDEST (in my opinion) song that he's ever made. I think it's fitting for how the media will always try and find dirt on people to bring out the worst in them. Enjoy. Till next time, Rock on from Krypton
Oh yea and I hope everyone had a great July 4th!

Drake "Best I Ever Had" from kwest on Vimeo.
"Take that D like the champions that you are!!!"
So probably the most widely anticipated video in recent memory is finally here and do I think it lived up to the hype? No, but for some reason I'm glad that it didn't. Now I won't lie, when I heard this song was gonna be made into a video, I was expecting a Hype Williams level epic video filled with epic movie camera pans, beautiful exotic locations and stuff like that. But this video is NOTHING like that which makes me kinda glad because they didn't go the tradional eye candy w/ no substance route. Drake plays the coach of an all female basketball team (and all of em look DAMN good, had me droolin!) that isn't very good but Drake always encourages them by telling them that they're the best. Now I like this concept because I've been on a basketball team before and the job of a coach is not only to lead the team to victory but to encourage them and build up their spirits and Kanye cleverly used that element of coaching to put an interesting spin on female empowerment (hats off to you Mr West). The video is very enjoyabale to watch and it's filled with a lot of slick humor that may go over a few peoples heads. You can definately tell that Yeezy has a thing for exotic, big breasted women because this video is full of them which I have absolutely NO problem with lol. There were some cameos in there as well and I'm glad that they just stayed as cameos (i'm kinda blown Nikki Minaj wasn't on the team...*sigh* a man can dream...). I was a little confused by the ending though because it kinda left you hanging but it doesn't take that much away from the video. Overall though, while to a lot of people this video might not live up to their expectations, I was very pleased with it and it'll serve as a great opener to Drake's album and should tie people over until his next single which I'm guessing will be more grandoise. Hope yall enjoy it. Till next time, Rock on from Krypton
